Students majoring in a discipline within the College must complete a minor with the exception of those seeking: the double major; the BA in Humanities; and the BFA in Art. A minor consists of a minimum of 18 credit hours, at least nine of which must be upper division. However, each discipline specifies the requirements for the minor, so check the undergraduate catalog for the specific minor requirements. All major field areas offer minors. There are also minors in areas that do not have majors: Art History, Bilingual/ESL Studies, Coaching, Drama, Energy Studies, Latin American Studies, Music, Special Populations and Women's Studies. In addition, the School of Business offers minors in accountancy, business (general), economics, finance, management, and marketing.
