This group exhibition curated by Wayne Gilbert explores the edgier side of Texas painting (with a couple of sculptures and digital photos thrown in for kicks). A variant of this show was first exhibited at Building 98 in Marfa in October of 2007. That show, also curated by Wayne Gilbert, is reborn here with slight variation, but the overall effect is still the same: A diverse sampling of Texas avante-garde image makers. Most of the Artists here live and work in the Houston area including Wayne Gilbert - an artist himself.
