Curated by Dan Askew, sculpture faculty at UTPB, and Kurt Dyrhaug, sculpture faculty at Lamar University, this group show brings together several artists throughout the state of Texas who regulary work with the rare process of cast iron.

Unlike bronze or aluminum, cast iron requires a special appliance called a cupola or cupolette that is usually individually made by the artists themselves.

Opening reception: Friday, January 25, 7-9 pm. Free and open to the public.
