Ben Campbell

Ben Campbell

While my range of media and style is relatively large and contains seemingly disparate aesthetics, it does have at least a single thread of connection to provide a unified aesthetic able to be appreciated on multiple levels.

In my dark and visual explorations I have developed a visual language not unlike that of past cultures which survive long after that which created them.

Death as a concept exists for me as forensic game of not only filling in the blanks, but also of the continuation through the transferal of knowledge into a new vessel.

In the societal realm I hope to further the idea of my self while at the same time letting go. Placing my identity not within the fragile container of a single body, but rather a shared identity amongst many containers. And perhaps though, its not even me in all of those containers but something much larger and older that I have only begun to take part in.

Through my explorations on multiple fronts into the nature of communication and information I wish to reflect on and back the nature of humanity as we embark on a brave new journey into the digital age.

For my own part, I wish to remove stumbling blocks which prevent my most true self from entering into the world. Ever growing and expanding my consciousness to new levels while building a scaffold of wisdom to lessen the frequency of falling back to lower depths. In growing as a creature on several fronts, I hope to be able to paddle out into waters not often explored. Bringing back exotic fish of immense and peculiar beauty for feasts shared amongst villagers willing to partake.

Personality wise, I'm probably too quirky to be employed. But if you decide you want me on your team and your goals are to do something positive for humanity and it makes near perfect use of my abilities, then I might be inclined to work with you.
