What is the Falcon Flock?


The Falcon Flock was organized in 2004. There are 20-30 members in the band. We perform on a regular basis for athletic events, commencements, and convocations.

We perform an eclectic assortment of music -- in many different musical styles. Our goal is to provide musical entertainment for events, have fun, and advance music on the UTPB campus. Music books are provided with the individual parts in them -- so musicians can rehearse on their own and limit the amount of rehearsal time necessary as a group.

Our vision is for members of the entire UTPB community to come together to perform -- meaning students, faculty, staff, alums, faculty emeriti, spouses, friends, etc. We are part of the music program (supervised by Dr. Dan Keast).

Rehearsals are 4pm Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays. No audition necessary --
