Course Objectives:
1. To review the basic beat patterns
2. To develop an understanding of advanced and mixed patterns
3. To develop basic skills in the area of transposition and clef reading
4. To review foreign terms
5. To acquaint prospective teachers with the skill of score reading
6. To develop basic skills in the area of musical and expressive gestures
7. To develop the skill of the left hand
8. To develop the skill of indicating fermatas
9. To develop skills in rehearsal technique and pacing

1. Conducting Exams: 30%

3. Self-analysis of video exams: 20%
