The Communication Program at UTPB offers expertise in three different fields: Communication Studies, Speech, and Mass Media.  For the Fall 2009 semester, we are pleased to welcome Risé Lara to our faculty.  Professor Lara is ABD at Penn State, and she completed her M.A. at Texas Tech.  We also welcome Dwaine Osborne, who has an M.A. from West Virginia.  Mr. Osborne also serves as the men's basketball coach.
