Welcome prospective Criminal Justice students. UTPB now offers an "on-line" completion degree in criminal justice. This degree is a Bachelor of Science degree. It is also a completion degree. This means that through the completed courses, students can obtain 66 hours of criminal justice coursework toward completing their Bachelor of Science degree. It also means that the program does NOT include general education courses within the degree plan. This UTPB program will provide the specific criminal justice courses and the general education hours can be obtained via local community colleges or UTPB which does, however, provide most of the general education hours (also on-line) needed to complete the degree through our distance education program. Courses for this degree are taught through Internet technology by college professors. The program/degree is an accredited degree. When students complete the 66 hours of coursework and graduate, there is no distinction on the graduation certificate or on transcripts that the program was an on-line degree.
