Kinesiology Lab
The Kinesiology Laboratory is located in the Mesa Building in rooms 118/119. The facilities include some new, state-of-the-art equipment. The new equipment includea Bod Pod for the measurement of body composition and a Sensor Medics Vmax229max System for lung function and metabolic measurements. This complements the existing equipment that includes cycle ergometers, treadmills, an isometric dynamometer for strength testing, electrocardiographs, and other equipment. Our students obtain hands-on experience in the laboratory through classwork and undergraduate and graduate level research projects.
